We had a bit of bad luck with a small leak where rainwater got into the lp New Arrivals shelf, and several lps that were not already in a protective plastic outer sleeve (as they were all factory shrink-wrapped) got a bit water-damaged. The shelf was quickly moved and the affected records were completely disassembled (vinyl out of inner sleeve out of outer sleeve, which had its shrinkwrap removed), so all of the vinyl is clean and there is no mold damage or smell on the paper, as we luckily caught the issue within hours.

This is a list of the damaged lps, with a rating/description of just how damaged:

  • A Girl Called Eddy - Been Around (Elefant Records) - white vinyl
2: very minimal staining on white sleeve

  • Anderson, Jason - Restless (Salinas Records)
4: outer sleeve more water-stained than wavy; insert a bit wavy

  • Band À Part - Templos Y Neones (Elefant Records) - clear vinyl
    2: inner/outer sleeves only a little wavy

  • Bauhaus - The 1979 Demo Recordings (SBS Records) - clear vinyl
3: slight staining/bending in lower corner

  • Bauwaves - U R Everything (Salinas Records)
5: bottom pretty stained & wavy

  • Big Bite - Trinity (Pop Wig Records) - blue/black swirl vinyl
    4: kinda wavy, a little water-stained

  • Big Nothing - Chris (Salinas Records)
4: bottom of outer/inner sleeves kinda wavy

  • Hinds - The Prettiest Curse (Mom + Pop Records) - red vinyl
6: sleeve & large poster insert quite wavy

  • Hit Parade - The Golden Age Of Pop (JSH Records)
    5; sleeve bottom quite wavy

  • Holy Tunics - Hit Parade Lemonade Supersonic Spree (Meritorio Records)
    2: minimal, slight waviness

  • Homesick - The Big Exercise (Sub Pop Records) - yellow vinyl
3: outer sleeve glossy, so okay; inner sleeve a little wavy; paper spine/fake OBI strip stained
